About The Keepsake Artisan

After more than 30 years in a career I genuinely enjoyed, I felt a growing desire to create something of my own. I’ve been fortunate — my working life never truly felt like work — but there was always a quiet instinct telling me that one day I would step into a more creative path.

I’ve always believed that you can achieve anything if the passion is there. Much of my inspiration came from watching countless makers and artists share their creations on YouTube — generous, talented crafters who freely offer their skills to anyone willing to watch and learn. I salute every one of them; their creativity lit the spark that became The Keepsake Artisan.

Today, this studio is built around slow, intentional creativity. I craft mixedmedia tiles and small artworks by hand, blending materials, texture, and imagination to create pieces that feel quietly meaningful. Crafting may not be the bestpaid work, but it is undoubtedly good for the soul whether youre making, watching, or simply appreciating the process.

Each tile I create is truly one of a kind — the finishing process ensures that no two pieces are ever identical. Working from my studio in Warwickshire, England, I craft tiles that are wonderfully versatile: display a single piece as a quiet focal point, arrange several as a gallery wall, tuck one onto a shelf amongst your favourite books, or give one as a thoughtful, meaningful gift to someone special. However they find their place, these tiles are made to be lived with and cherished.

This work makes me happy, and my hope is that each piece carries a little of that feeling into the homes it finds.
